With Festival Season underway, Ibiza Is A Track You Need
Following the release of their highly-anticipated track ‘Tyson Fury’, one of the most infamous emerging acts in London, The Manor, return with a pure statement of summer intent with their latest offering ‘Ibiza’. Taking a hook from Bob Marley’s classic ‘Sun is Shining’, the family loved it on first play and it’s one of the only samples in recent years that’s been cleared by the Marleys themselves.
The track sees Scotty Stacks flowing through an epic holiday encounter in his trademark laid-back style, ‘Ibiza’ balances a gorgeous, grooved-out baseline and Balearic horns bringing a sun-filled swagger to what’s shaping to be one of the club heaters of the summer.
Beginning as three friends from Beckenham, south London scheming on their fag break during college, MCs Danny Graft, Scotty Stacks and Jonny Dutch started fusing UKG with elements of grime and rap to a fierce sense of local pride and a love of their community. Starting to put on shows - essentially parties for themselves and their mates – they started building a serious reputation; Inner-city hustle mixed with local love has swiftly caught the attention of the increasingly heavyweight tastemakers including NOISEY, RWD, SHORTLIST, RED BULL, CLASH and BBC R1Xtra as well as The Streets’ founder Mike Skinner who personally secured them as main support for their huge upcoming UK tour.
Selling out the O2 Forum in a matter of minutes in April, the same cult following promises incredible scenes at Wireless, Rize and Reading & Leeds this year, as well as a massive set at Ibiza Rocks in August with Craig David. Undoubtedly one of the most exciting emerging acts in the UK right now, it’s only a matter of time before The Manor build to the kind of culture shift that’s so evident live. ‘Ibiza’, with a blessing from a bonafide legend, means The Manor look inescapable this summer.
New Track Set To Create Waves
AZTX are a duo in their early twenties from Blackpool - they started playing in cover bands at 16 and have steadily graduated to now writing & producing for international artists including the likes of Detroit cult singer Apropos.
Now the duo come through with their debut release "My song”, featuring emerging UK singer/songwriter Blakey, another red-hot emerging artist who’s recent debut release ‘Prism of love’ has gathered over 1.4 Million streams, featuring on the likes of NOISEY, NOTION MAGAZINE and HILLY DILLY.
This new track sparks and shines with pop hooks and the kind of glossy melody that will bring serious comparisons to the slick, mainstream-ready gems of Chainsmokers and Panama Wedding. An upbeat, fresh debut from an act you’ll be hearing a lot more from this year.

Infectious Blend Of Genres
Meet WOLVES, a band that are breaking barriers and pushing the boundaries of modern music with their infectious blend of genres. Consisting of Marc Avery, Sean Carney, and Rockwell Sands, the Los Angeles based trio have created their own unique sound, marrying pop sensibilities with bold rock’n’roll and gritty urban beats. With each member hailing from various cultural backgrounds, WOLVES have crafted their own distinct style, shaping the sound of pop culture as we know it.
“We wondered what it would be like if we took all these different influences we loved—artists like Michael Jackson, the Eagles, Coldplay—and rolled them all into one band today,” Sands muses. Their eclectic influences proved to be inspirational, with their debut single ‘Animal’ giving the trio their signature explosive sound.
The band was named after the characteristics of wolves. These majestic animals which are bonded by an innate sense of the pack, move in harmony as one unit towards common goals. “I can’t think of a better way to describe us. The three of us are all about the good of the group; every day we try to embody that philosophy in our music and beyond.” remarks Avery.
WOLVES highly anticipated single 'Freaky' is an anthem to inspire others to be brave and embrace who you are, to share your inner-most desires with the world and to live life to the fullest. Featuring slick indie pop grooves, 90’s reminiscent hip hop and hard-hitting rhythms, ‘Freaky’ is a song that you can’t help but dance to. "We love listening to music from back in the day and try to re-imagine what it would sound like today.” reveals Carney.
From the primal energy of ‘Animal' to the seductive tones in ‘Freaky’, WOLVES have crafted a wildly diverse range of music built for pop radio and stadiums alike. Having already earned top spots on the Billboard charts and heavy rotation on Sirius XM Hits 1, the trio hopes to inspire audiences across the globe with their music, and to continue creating unforgettable songs that at once nod to the past and hurtle towards the future. ‘Freaky’ is set for release summer 2018.
Lyric Video For This Fun Track Out Now
Featuring candid footage of MAYKA shot with an atmospheric retro aesthetic, the video is a collage of light-hearted and surreal imagery, from relaxing in shopping trolleys to mysterious shots of smoking flowers.
Regarding the video MAYKA says, "I wanted to create something rough and decadent in contrast to the cheerful, summery vibes of the song. The video captures restlessness, destructivity and all the dark stuff that comes with temptation and wanting someone. Everything has a shadow side and that's something I'm obsessed with exploring. Overall the video is very DIY, it was filmed on a night out in Stockholm and I felt like I was 14 years old all over again.”
‘Watching You’ features minimalist production heavy with trap-influenced future bass and beats alongside MAYKA’s irresistible vocal hooks and a funky pop chorus.
Regarding the new single MAYKA says, “I´m really excited to share this song. ‘Watching You’ is a bittersweet pop song about temptation, always seeking what's no good for you and pushing boundaries just to get a rush. The sound is playful but at the same time it’s got some neat UK-bass elements, which I love. A perfect mix of dance and pop!”
‘Watching You’ follows the release of MAYKA’s debut single ‘Rich’ earlier this year, which shot its way into Spotify Viral Charts around the world and was a hit at Swedish radio.
Music Video Encapsulating The Entirety Of Her Recently Released Self-Titled Debut EP
An emotive and captivating work of art, the video translates each track on the EP into a moving visual interpretation, following six moments in six women’s lives. Flowing seamlessly through intimate portraits of love, melancholy and surreal hedonism, the video is a hugely perceptive study of emotion, character and relationships.
EP opener ‘Becky’ casts light onto a woman starting her day among the dappled morning light in her bedroom, while ‘Malaysia’ captures the fantasy of escapism in the big city and ‘Die While You Love Me’ follows the intensity of infatuation within mundane environments.
Becky and the Birds’ most recent single ‘Concept Store’, which has received huge acclaim and support from Communion’s Maz Tappuni at Radio X, sees a girl skate through the streets into a debauched house party.
The tearaway debut single ‘Holding On’ follows a late night journey of a distraught driver and the EP and video finishes with ‘My Man’, which stars Thea Gustafsson herself in an embrace with a man.
The Becky and the Birds EP features a genre-spanning blend of lush electronics, with nods to trip-hop and ‘90s R&B and the result is reminiscent of SZA, Solange and Erykah Badu. It finds Becky and the Birds taking ownership of her work while rejecting the pop-saturated sound of her native Sweden, resulting in a true-to-self, multifaceted project.
Dope Melody and Catchy Lyrics
Fresh off the release of their latest E.P release ‘Life of Sampson’, which saw a string of sensational videos accompany it including the dating show ‘Take Me Out’ inspired ‘Mr Perfect’, the trio drop their latest release just in time for their tour alongside 80’s favourites ‘Madness’.
Constantly lashing out surprises and creative flair with their twists on visuals, their new endeavors or their unstoppable drive; whether that be winning the ‘Best Buskers’ award from the Mayor of London or popping up on stage alongside Michael Buble, the trio have now taken inspiration from the unlikely form of Beenie Man and his classic track ‘Drinking Rum & Red Bull’.
Combining their cheeky personalities and lyrical delivery with melodic guitar riffs and a catchy drum-beat, it’s a track that has an immediate familiarity to it. Buoyantly detailing the peaks and troughs of a holiday romance, the Rum & Red Bull visuals, shot on a retro video camcorder, capture two young love-birds romancing by the seaside, capturing perfectly the ‘boy next door’ charm that The Tailormade have become synonymous with.

A Mixture Of Different House Vibes
Violet Days is the artistic project of Swedish singer and songwriter Lina Hansson, with production by her creative partner Kris Eriksson. Part of a burgeoning scene of young, talented Swedish artists, Violet Days crafts addictive, bass-heavy, alternative pop as ethereal as it is unapologetically huge.
Following the critically-acclaimed release of their recent track ‘Somber’ ft. morgxn, “Just A Little” is arguably the finest track we have heard from the emerging talent and puts them on a level of pure melodic prowess last seen with the likes of Robyn.
Producer Kris Eriksson, who crafted one of the biggest hits of the past few years in Chainsmokers’ ‘Paris’, shows his mastery is still very much intact with a beautiful marriage of huge synth and the kinds of hooks that you’d expect from one of the most exciting emerging musicians coming out of northern Europe right now.
Now with a new remix package featuring the likes of BRKLYN, Alex Ariete, Franklin and James Bluck, the Swedish act continue to underline their emergence as one of the most gifted and hotly-tipped new acts in the pop genre. Violet Days is here to stay, and with this new package involving some serious emerging names, it’s a timely reminder of the sheer size of the original release.
