Leftwing:Kody return with their newest track “Purple Sunshine” ft Leo Stannard
Their newest offering “Purple Sunshine” features the vocal talents of Leo Stannard, who’s ethereal vocals ride smoothly over Leftwing:Kody’s driving hypnotic production. Clearly a track with big room club ambitions, but in the current lockdown, equally at home, blissfully lost in your headphones.
“We really enjoyed making this record, from the early stages of writing the vocals with Leo we took it into a direction that is starting to feel more natural for us. Drawing from inspiration for our early progressive days it came together so quickly. We hope you love it as much as we”.
With a huge range of achievements including releases on the likes of Desolat, Relief, Moon Harbour, Sola, Toolroom, Solid Grooves, Truesoul, and Lost, Leftwing : Kody’s previous tracks have helped them land 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify. What’s more, their single “Snap Back” was Desolat’s best ever selling track and their remix of Kelis’ iconic “Milkshake” was a top 10 hit.
With support from key Radio One DJs such as Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Danny Howard and Mistajam, Leftwing:Kody rounded things off recently with their Radio 1 Essential mix debut. Straddling both worlds with ease, they also have the support of the biggest DJs in dance music including Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Adam Beyer, Steve Lawler, Nic Fanciulli, Yousef, Green Velvet and Hot Since 82 all playing their productions.
2020 is a challenging time for everyone right now, and whilst the dance floors may be closed for some time, Leftwing:Kody will continue to deliver music for fans to move to…wherever they are.
