D’melo drops incoming single, ‘Faithful’
D’melo is fresh hip hop artist hailing from the East of UK’s capital. D’Melo is obsessed with everything urban pop, with huge influence from his Nigerian parents. This new release is a playful expression of stereotypes of men in relationships, Faithful.
D’melo is a fearless creative that loves to call upon his Nigerian roots as well as fond childhood memories. He describes his youth as filled with mischievous moments that provide inspiration for his music today. D’Melo’s musical curiosity started by stealing his older brother’s lyrics from his ‘rap diaries’ and memorising them for playground battles. Recent single, Come to Party, burst onto the speakers with D’Melo’s dynamic, celebration of hip hop.
D’melo’s third release, Faithful reveals a distinct urban sound, accompanied by an intricately smooth vocal arrangement. The song is taken from his upcoming debut EP Since When. The five-track body of work is an energetic exploration and features tight experimental electronic elements. Faithful combines melodic tones with traditional urban beats.
