My Cat Snoop releases tech thumper ‘Narc’ on Farris Wheel Recordings
Resident Brighton DJ turned tech giant My Cat Snoop is back with new track NARC via Gene Farris’ Farris Wheel Recordings. Dubbed one to watch, My Cat Snoop’s monster tracks Dynamite and Repeat have been supported by the likes of Jamie Jones and Claude von Stroke, and also scored him releases through some of the house world’s biggest imprints. Armed with an addictive thump, NARC will no doubt have the entire dancefloor shuffling.
NARC kicks off with a heavy bass intertwined with edgy cuts before the introduction of the monstrous vocals which leads you to a spaced-out bridge. Entering another stratosphere at full throttle, the track is then filled with funky grooves that will undoubtedly have everyone bopping.
Hailing from Britain’s seaside capital Brighton, My Cat Snoop, whose real name is Gregg Ashley first leaped on to the scene in 2015 with tracks like Use Your Head which propped itself on Beatport’s top 10 Minimal Chart and Drugs which reached top 20 at the same time. Since then, Gregg has become renowned for his pulsating slices of hypnotic, tech-infused sound.
With performances at Circus, Lightbox, Fire, The Egg, The Arch alongside Santé, Matthias Tanzmann, Richy Ahmed and Steve Lawler, as well as regular slots at ABODE parties and festivals, and Sankeys and Bora Bora becoming frequent occurrences, My Cat Snoop is a firm artist to watch.
