5 Reasons Why Eastern Electrics Festival Banged

One of This Year’s Sickest Line-Ups

We take a look at exactly why this year’s Eastern Electric Festival is gonna absolutely bang this weekend. Trust us when we say it’s gonna be a workout over these epic two days

With each stage and lineup looking ridiculous here’s our 5 Reasons Why? This weekend!

Defected

Legends of the house game, Defected is hands down the biggest house music label in the world, fact! So any event that has Defected on the bill is certified to be off the chain. With the original CEO Simon Dunmore and Defected resident host Sam Divine in session expect the Defected stand to be the one at Eastern Electrics Festival this weekend

Rinse FM

If underground radio stations had championships Rinse FM would be the undisputed heavyweight champs, the list of artists and arts to come through in that station is legendary, from Katy B to Roska, Skepta to Skream the list goes on and on. So when Rinse FM is in session expect a road block and vibes

Jamie Jones

Legend is a word that can be used too often but with Jamie Jones we’re not sure if the word is big enough to describe what influence he’s had on the house scene as a whole. Head of house label ‘Hot Creations’ the boss himself was voted top DJ of 2011. The Ibiza Anthem ‘Benediction’ changed the sound and helped to catapult Hot Creations globally. The sheer fact he’s the resident at DC10 says it all. Expect it to pop off on the main stage this weekend!

David Rodigan

The original rude boy DJ, its not often a DJ has a MBE, to put that it context it means even the Queen has raved to Rodigan’s soundsystem and decided he’s part of her empire. The fact he’s the DJ in Grand Theft Auto ‘Ramjam Radio’ should end all arguments about the levels this guy is on. If you love all things bashment, dancehall or raggae Mr Ramjam himself will bring the noise this weekend

Eastern Electric

After the huge success of last year’s event with the relocation from Hatfield to Morden, South London. Means the stages are bigger and better, the headline arts are even more legendary and the vibe will be immeasurable this weekend, arguably the best lineup this summer. If 5 reasons aren’t enough, you need to sit down in a dark room and seriously have some words with yourself. Expect Eastern Electrics to be the one this weekend!
